Deputy Clinical Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Clinical Lead to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality psychological therapies to our patients.
About the RoleThe Deputy Clinical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our therapy service, including supervision and line management of staff, delivery of key performance indicators, and provision of training for staff. You will also be responsible for leading on specific areas for the service, including development of links with external organizations and internal development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and support to qualified therapists and other clinical staff
- Develop and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of clients' mental health problems
- Evaluate and make decisions about treatment options, taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models
- Integrate with the psychological formulation specialist knowledge of complex mental health disorders
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS
- Experience of working in a leadership role in a psychological therapy service, liaising and consulting with GPs and community providers
- Extensive experience of working in a Talking Therapies (IAPT) service with a diverse population
- Experience in developing therapeutic services to respond to user needs
- Experience of teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision
