The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Domestic Team Supervisor to lead a team in providing an exceptional cleaning service in our student and commercial guest accommodation. As a key member of our Accommodation, Catering and Events team, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment for our students and guests.

In this role, you will be part of a busy cleaning team based primarily in student accommodation. You will interact with a diverse range of customers on a daily basis throughout the year. During the academic year, your primary customers will be our student residents, and you will assist them with settling into their new homes and ensuring a clean-living environment. During the summer vacation period, you may be involved in setting up and servicing rooms for commercial guests.

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week. Normal hours of work are 8:30am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend working may be required, especially during commercial and summer periods.

To be eligible for this role, you should have previous supervisory experience, be able to follow written and verbal instructions, possess excellent time management skills, and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of cleaning staff to provide an exceptional cleaning service in student and commercial guest accommodation.
  • Ensure a clean and comfortable living environment for students and guests.
  • Interact with customers on a daily basis, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist students with settling into their new homes and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Participate in the setup and servicing of rooms for commercial guests during the summer vacation period.
