Job Title: Night Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, ensuring their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide wakeful night cover, ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Manage equipment needs and ensure the smooth operation of our services
  • Liaise with health professionals as required, ensuring seamless communication and care
  • Maintain high standards of personal and environmental care, promoting mental and physical activity
  • Handle emergency calls and respond to service user needs in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends and evenings
  • Respect for Christian values and ability to work within our Christian ethos
