Job Title: Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team in Stirling. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to adults with complex needs, enabling them to live independently and maximise their opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to adults with complex needs, including wheelchair-bound individuals
  • Establish and maintain good daily routines, including personal care and seizure management
  • Work effectively with the care team, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Display emotional resilience and empathy when supporting individuals with life-limiting conditions
  • Work flexible schedules, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with adults with complex needs
  • Experience in or willingness to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy, and moving and handling
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Registration under the PVG scheme and full driving license
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable)
