About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Public Relations Specialist to join our PR and Communications team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our status as the leading brain tumour voice in the media.

\

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Microsoft Office and a CRM database, with a strong understanding of public relations principles and practices. You will be responsible for raising the profile of Brain Tumour Research through innovative and pioneering PR initiatives.

\

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in one of the most innovative and exciting medical research fundraising charities in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to raise awareness about Brain Tumour Research and its work.\
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers to secure media coverage.\
  • Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials.\
\

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, media communications, or a related field.\
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.\
\

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £33,000 per annum.\
  • A hybrid working model, with the option to work from home up to two days per week.\
  • 25 days' annual leave, increasing by one day each year up to a maximum of 30 days.\
