About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pensions Manager to join our team at abrdn. As a key member of our Reward function, you will play a critical role in the policy, design, and innovation of our pay and benefits strategy across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the abrdn UK and Ireland pension arrangements, ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment employer obligations and reviewing group life accounts.
- Oversee complex employee pension queries and complaints, providing SME support in TUPE, acquisition, and merger projects.
- Review audit and renewal data prepared by Pensions Consultants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of pension changes in response to changes/improvements in the market.
- Support key strategic pension projects, including entity changes and T&Cs changes.
- Manage and develop the Pensions Consultant in the team, performing regular one-to-ones and providing performance review feedback.
Requirements
- Proven Pensions experience from financial or professional services, ideally with global exposure.
- In-depth working knowledge of pensions regulations and legislation.
- Strong understanding of pension trusteeship and excellent communication and relationship management skills.
