As a Pensions Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our pension arrangements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the abrdn UK and Ireland pension arrangements, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee complex employee pension queries and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the pension scheme Trustees and their advisers to ensure the successful implementation of pension projects.
  • Review and analyze audit and renewal data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance pension scheme performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on pension scheme performance and progress.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in pension management, preferably with global exposure.
  • In-depth knowledge of pension regulations and legislation.
  • Strong understanding of pension trusteeship and its implications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
