Job Advert Role Description

Hobbits Holt is a 24/7 residential care facility providing support to 6 individuals.

We are seeking a caring, professional, and reliable individual who can build solid working relationships with our residents and staff.

To be a Deputy Manager, you will be flexible and have experience in leading a team, as well as the ability to demonstrate experiences and knowledge of supporting people in a proactive, person-centered way.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Home Manager in ensuring the home is maintained in accordance with regulatory bodies.
  2. Line manage the senior team to ensure high standards of care and service are achieved within the home to regulatory standards.
  3. Support residents to live as independently as possible, including personal care.
  4. Act as a senior member of staff on shift and be confident in supporting our residents and staff team.
  5. Build and maintain lasting relationships with residents and their families.
  6. Take residents out and about, including walking, local cafes, and outdoor activities.
  7. Contribute to the on-call rota and a varied shift pattern.
