Senior Commercial Manager

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Department, you will play a crucial role in maximizing profit and reducing risk on our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and Analyze Data: Prepare reports and claims to agreed timescales, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
- Commercial Application Implementation: Assist in the ongoing implementation of our commercial application, developing lasting relationships with Business Unit and Project Managers.
- Risk Management: Refer to the project risk management plan for thorough, accurate, high-level risk assessment, monitoring the register and related documentation.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Ultimate responsibility for all sub-contractor management, ensuring compliant quotations, and producing documentation for services, assessments, variations, and final account agreements.
- Commercial Knowledge and Skills: Increase knowledge of commercial issues and contract law, managing and agreeing compensation events, variations, and claims.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and develop processes for increased accuracy and efficiency, minimizing time journal and reconciliation tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyor(s) to ensure appropriate commercial cover is maintained.
- Financial Reporting: Assist the team and Project Manager, Engineers, and Planners with regard to recovery of contract costs, enhancing project profit by identifying variations, delays, and claims.
- Site Commercial Manual: Help produce a site commercial manual and documents to record variations.
- Company Policies: Work within established Company policies and procedures, adhering to our certification to the standards OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.

- Graduate or Graduate Calibre
- Full UK Driving License
