About the Job

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lewisham, London. The successful candidate will support the education and development of students while working in a friendly and inclusive environment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons that support all learners, collaborating with teachers.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them reach their potential.
  • Contribute to the inclusive and positive ethos of the school.
  • Assist students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
  • Help with classroom organization and administrative tasks.

  • You should be flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamic challenges of a school setting.
  • Ideally, you will have experience working with children, but we welcome candidates who are enthusiastic and ready to learn.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are essential.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with children is an advantage.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is a must.
Salaries and Benefits

The salary for this role is around £22,000-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and career progression.
