Embedded Firmware Engineer

Leading telecommunications clients require skilled professionals to join their core engineering teams. As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting system design, functionality, scope, and product development/delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand and analyze requirements, implementing suitable real-time solutions for the business.
  • Design and develop innovative software architecture, ensuring optimal design processes.
  • Liaise with software and hardware functions to support product development and deployment across the software development life cycle.
  • Orchestrate and automate testing processes.
Requirements:
  • Strong commercial experience developing real-time software using languages such as C/C++ and Python.
  • Exposure to digital signal processing algorithm development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Desirable: Background in GNSS positioning or inertial technology.
  • Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, etc.).

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £90,000 plus excellent benefits. The role is flexible, with occasional days spent in our clients' offices in Devon or Daventry.
