We are seeking a highly skilled Water Assets Analyst to join our team at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. As a key member of our Water Assets Department, you will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into deliverable, costed solutions that improve the service we provide to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Zonal Studies Programme Manager in delivering the AMP7 and 8 programmes of work for Discolouration and AC mains, valued at over £200m.
- Undertake network analysis and root cause analysis activities within the distribution system using hydraulic modelling, corporate data, and site-based investigations.
- Review and approve field test plans from contract partners.
- Work with contract partners to ensure that work packages are delivered to the desired quality, time, and cost.
- Provide expert support in the development and delivery of capital solutions to achieve future business targets.
- Hold a full current driving licence.
- Have (ideally) 5 years+ experience in the water industry in an asset management, operational, or analytical role.
- A working knowledge of the clean water network and assets is essential, and a working knowledge of treatment processes is desirable.
- A thorough understanding of water service delivery in Distribution and a working knowledge of the key hydraulic principles and asset functions that deliver levels of service to customers.
- Experienced in the use of Hydraulic Modelling or GIS packages.
- Excellent IT skills.
