Dementia Care Assistant Lead

Job Details
- Working hours: 33 hours per week, split between day and night shifts
- Salary: $12.19 per hour, paid competitively within the industry
- Contract duration: 12 weeks, with opportunities for permanent employment
Responsibilities
The Adult Residential Care Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Leading a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery
- Coordinating resident activities, promoting social interaction and engagement
- Managing medication administration, adhering to established policies and procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, focused on enhancing care quality and resident satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
- Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a focus on advancing knowledge and skills
- Prior experience in care settings or related fields, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
