We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation Craftsperson Apprentice to join our team at Sellafield in Cumbria. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about innovation and practical expertise.

About the Role

As an EC&I Craftsperson Apprentice, you will be working on a 4-year apprenticeship programme that combines technical mastery with creative problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to work alongside both the Workshop Team and the Monitor Round Team, learning from their expertise and gaining practical experience.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in engineering and nuclear energy, as well as strong academic skills, including Maths, English Language, Science, and/or a technical subject such as Design Technology. Additionally, they must be able to achieve BPSS and meet Security Clearance requirements.

Training and Development

You will receive both practical and theoretical training, as well as on-site training at Sellafield. At Lakes College, you will work towards the Level 3 MOET Apprenticeship standard, gaining the qualifications, skills, and experience essential for a successful career in the nuclear sector.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary rising annually to £34,697 post-apprenticeship, as well as a range of benefits, including a minimum 28 days holiday allowance and flexible benefits. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £34,697.
