Instrumentation Calibration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Calibration Specialist to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a range of projects related to instrumentation and control systems.
The successful candidate will have a recognized apprenticeship in an instrumentation control engineering discipline and be able to interpret engineering drawings and work with maintenance documentation.
This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including enhanced maternity and paternity leave, a pension plan, and 25.5 days of annual leave.
Main Responsibilities- Calibration and Testing: Perform routine examination, inspection, maintenance, and testing on plant and equipment, including calibration checks of field instrumentation, interlocks, alarms, and controls performance verification.
- Installation and Commissioning: Support the installation and commissioning of improvement and customer projects, including the installation, modification, and commissioning of instrumentation equipment.
- Maintenance Reporting: Complete job reporting in accordance with site standards to ensure a good quality maintenance history is recorded.
