**Job Title:** Electrical Calibration Specialist

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, UK

Salary: £40,000+ per annum, depending on skills and experience

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Electrical Calibration Specialist to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-end calibrations and repairs on electrical test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE).
  • You will also deliver on-the-job training and experiential learning to our team members and apprentices/graduates.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Experience working in a precision Electrical Calibration/metrology laboratory environment.
    • Understanding of quality systems & standards (ISO 17025/ISO 9001).
    • Relevant academic qualification (STEM Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).

Our Calibration department supports 30,000 pieces of equipment per year, ranging from traditional analogue equipment through to state-of-the-art digital systems. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
