**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Trainee Actuary to join our team in London. As a Graduate Trainee Actuary, you will assist our team of actuaries and brokers in handling large data sets and combining industry metrics to build complex models.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare data and consult with actuaries and brokers
  • Build complex models to evaluate risk and factors that affect loss liabilities and capital
  • Contribute to team meetings and overall team ethos
  • Deliver actuarial work in a clear, coherent, and consistent manner

**Salary:** £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience

**Location:** London/Hybrid working

**Type:** Permanent

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Establish and maintain relationships with colleagues, reinsurers, and clients to support new business development within reinsurance actuarial services
  • Assist in project or client work through the utilization of any level team member
  • Sit the Institute of Actuaries exams, although we will consider individuals who no longer wish to pursue the exams
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, economics, math, statistics, or related field
  • Some exemptions to actuarial exams, although we will also consider individuals who no longer wish to pursue the exams
  • Technical experience of working in pricing, reserving, or capital modeling
  • Coding experience using Python, R, SQL, VBA, or other comparable platforms
