Job Summary


As a key member of the Asda Stores Ltd maintenance team, this role involves monitoring supplier performance, conducting regular reviews, and participating in Contract and SLA risk assessments.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed contractual SLAs, collect performance data, and investigate any breaches.
  • Carry out regular reviews with third-party suppliers and participate in Contract and SLA risk assessments.
  • Represent suppliers and applications managed by the team in regular service reviews and incident review meetings.
  • Produce clear and accurate reporting on supplier performance, highlighting service improvement steps where necessary.
  • Coordinate the resolution of key problems by bringing together other Asda teams and third parties.
  • Resolve problems through the relevant processes and escalate issues to the Applications Maintenance Manager/Senior Apps Dev Manager as appropriate.
  • Act as liaison between Technology Service or George business and the third-party supplier for operational issues.
  • Utilise and update the supplier management information system.
  • Have a short-term view of key business activities and ensure plans are in place to maintain operational stability throughout.
  • Participate towards product road maps.
  • Understand product roadmaps and sunset dates, conduct capacity reviews, and co-ordinate plans to test platform resilience where applicable.
  • Monitor and report on system capacity to apply archiving and purging principles at regular intervals to maintain performant systems - applying defined business rules and adherence to legal compliance.
