About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our team at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Physician in Respiratory Care, you will play a key role in enhancing our respiratory services and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical opinion on a range of respiratory problems, both emergency and elective.
  • Undertake outpatient clinics and cover clinics at one of our community hospitals.
  • Participate in an unselected medical on-call rota on the Acute Medical Unit.
  • Develop and implement new procedures and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance respiratory care in the community.
