Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Integrated Respiratory Team in North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) in South West Essex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of respiratory care services, including COPD management, pulmonary rehabilitation, and home oxygen services.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support patients with effective self-management of respiratory conditions.
  2. Contribute to patient education and holistic support networks.
  3. Assist with COPD patient assessments and escalate to senior staff as needed.
  4. Support oxygen home safety and management of stable oxygen cases.
  5. Deliver pulmonary rehabilitation programs and support the Respiratory Virtual Ward.
  6. Perform quality FeNo and ARTP accredited Spirometry.
  7. Support the delivery of Breathlessness and Diagnostics services.

Person Specification

Qualifications:

  • AP Qualification
  • NVQ L2 numeracy and literacy

  • ARTP registration
