Job Title: Senior Physiotherapy Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Integrated Respiratory Team in North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT). The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation programs and provide education to patients on self-management of respiratory conditions.
  2. Contribute to the assessment and management of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions.
  3. Work collaboratively with the respiratory team to provide holistic care to patients, including home oxygen management and spirometry.
  4. Support the development and implementation of new respiratory services and pathways.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of respiratory care services.

Requirements:

  • AP qualification and NVQ L2 numeracy and literacy
  • Experience working in the NHS, preferably in a respiratory care setting
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
