Job Title: Clinic Co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinic Co-ordinator to join our team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of the Surgery Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative and clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the administrative and clerical functions of the Admissions Team.
  • Support the department/Operational Managers to ensure service delivery.
  • Perform regular data quality and validation duties to maintain clean data.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of out-patient clinic services.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a department providing direct patient care.
  • Working knowledge of out-patient clinic preparation and delivery.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and without supervision.
  • Computer & keyboard skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including e-mail and Excel.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
Personal Qualities:
  • A willingness to be flexible and to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work Bank Holidays and Saturdays, on occasion.
  • Proactively and positively contribute to the successful overall performance of the Trust.
