Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urban Design Professional to join our team at Doncaster Council. As a Principal Urban Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our city through the development of innovative and sustainable urban design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on urban design matters to ensure that development proposals meet the highest standards of design quality and sustainability.
  • Assist in the preparation of design guidance and codes to inform development decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of masterplans and urban design strategies to guide the growth and regeneration of our city.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in urban design and planning, with a strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
