Job Title: Policy and Public Impact Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Policy and Public Impact Lead to help shape and deliver our programme of work tackling renal disease challenges head-on.

This senior appointment will increase the effectiveness and profile of our policy and public affairs activities. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead our policy and public affairs work, developing and implementing strategies to address the challenges of kidney disease, and collaborating with internal teams, trustees, and external stakeholders to drive impactful campaigns.

You will represent us in public policy discussions, including parliamentary groups, ensuring our voice is heard at the highest levels. Contribute to strategic planning and hands-on delivery within a small, collaborative team. About You:

We're looking for someone who combines strategic vision with a willingness to get stuck into the work. You'll have:

  • Proven experience in policy and public affairs with a strong network in public policy and parliamentary groups
  • A solid understanding of health policies
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications, with the ability to amplify our work and messaging
  • Entrepreneurial skills and the ability to shape and deliver impactful strategies
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently when needed
  • A passion for making a lasting difference for kidney patients and our mission

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
