Job Title: Strategic Affairs Manager

At Charity People, a B Corp with a strong commitment to social impact, we are seeking an exceptional Strategic Affairs Manager to drive our policy and public affairs work forward.

This senior appointment will raise the scale, effectiveness, and profile of our policy and public affairs initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead our strategic planning, develop and implement impactful strategies to tackle renal disease challenges, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve meaningful results.

You will represent us in public policy discussions, ensuring our voice is heard at the highest levels. Contribute to hands-on delivery within a small, collaborative team. With a refreshed five-year strategy and a growing reputation, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference for kidney patients.

About You:

We're looking for someone who combines strategic vision with a willingness to get stuck into the work. You'll have:

  • Proven experience in policy and public affairs with a strong network in public policy and parliamentary groups
  • A solid understanding of health policies
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications, with the ability to amplify our work and messaging
  • Entrepreneurial skills and the ability to shape and deliver impactful strategies
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently when needed
  • A passion for making a lasting difference for kidney patients and our mission

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
