Job Title: Health Visitor

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health Visitor to join our team in Devon. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for children and families in our community.

About the Role:

As a Health Visitor, you will work closely with community, voluntary, and statutory agencies to provide a range of services to children and families. You will be responsible for assessing the health and wellbeing of children and families, providing guidance and support to parents and carers, and working with other professionals to ensure that children receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct home visits to assess the health and wellbeing of children and families
  • Provide guidance and support to parents and carers on health and wellbeing issues
  • Work with other professionals to ensure that children receive the best possible care
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs to improve the health and wellbeing of children and families
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of health and wellbeing issues affecting children and families, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
