Job Title: Specialist Community Public Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Specialist Community Public Health Nurse to join our team in Teignmouth. As a key member of our health visiting service, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for children and families in Devon.

About the Role

As a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, you will work closely with corporate teams and be rostered to work in our duty hub covering a defined geographical area. You will be supported by Team Leaders and various dedicated health professionals, including Health Visitors, School Nurses, and Community Health Workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage changing and challenging work load priorities
  • Work in close partnership with community, voluntary, and statutory agencies
  • Contribute to multi-agency working and safeguarding children
  • Support the Better Births agenda in collaboration with local midwifery services
  • Embody a strong public health approach and think innovatively to address health inequalities
