About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Driver Trainer to join our team at Realise. As a Bus Driver Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training programs to our learners, helping them to achieve their goals and become professional Bus Drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Bus Drivers, focusing on theoretical and practical aspects of the job.
  • Manage a caseload of learners, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the requirements of their apprenticeship.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods to cater to individual learner preferences, including classroom training, practical bus driver training, and CPC Training.
  • Lead group training sessions, both remotely and face-to-face, to ensure learners receive the best possible training experience.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of our learners and employers.
Requirements
  • Significant bus driving experience, with a valid CPC and PCV license.
  • Experience delivering training/mentoring, including practical bus driver training, classroom training, CPC Training, route learning, and vehicle familiarization.
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (desirable, but not essential).
  • ICT literacy and proficiency in using digital tools for training delivery.
  • Assessment qualification (TAQA Level 3/A1/D32/33) and/or teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) (desirable, but not essential).
