Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our dynamic team at Align Property Services. As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs and expectations.

You will be responsible for managing a varied project workload, providing design advice, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in Mechanical Building Services Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mechanical building services design calculations using industry-standard software such as Hevacomp and IES
  • Create feasibility reports, condition surveys, design specifications, and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages
  • Supervise the installation of building services systems and undertake commissioning management
  • Specify maintenance and operating procedures
  • Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree or HNC in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering
  • Significant industry experience working as a Mechanical Engineer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD, and NBS software
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary up to £55,000 per year, dependent on your skills and experience. Our benefits package includes enrolment on a company pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working, and professional development opportunities.
