Electromechanical Engineer Role
">We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join our team at our production factory near Kendal.
">As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting all production machinery, including combating and resolving breakdowns and machinery problems, working through planned preventative maintenance, and undertaking project work such as new installations.
">You will work closely with a knowledgeable team, with good opportunities for further training & development.

">Salary and Benefits
">£35,000 - £39,000 per annum, plus Paid Overtime or TOIL, Benefits and Career opportunities
">Responsibilities
">Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting all production machinery, including combating and resolving breakdowns and machinery problems, working through planned preventative maintenance, and undertaking project work such as new installations.">
- Covering both electro-mechanical maintenance work across the factory and being encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side, whether mechanical or electrical.">
- Working closely with a knowledgeable team, with good opportunities for further training & development.">
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety instructions and the Health and Safety manual & relevant engineering standards.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- A maintenance or service engineer background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated.">
- Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications at Level 3 or above (mechanical or electrical).">
- Good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following: motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems, etc.">
- Multi-skilled across electrical & mechanical issues; Additional electronics skills, especially fault finding to component level, are very useful.">
- Proactive, self-starter work attitude and can be flexible with start & finish times when necessary.">
