We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our client's industrial FMCG manufacturing company in Kendal, Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing site planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have a solid background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with evidence of relevant experience. Additionally, they should be able to work safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Investigate and resolve equipment faults promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and tasks performed

Requirements:

  • National Certificate or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance
  • Evidence of ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
