About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic professional to join our Housing Solutions Team as a Home Solutions Advisor. This exciting opportunity will involve providing free, impartial homelessness and housing advice services to members of the public and professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a homeless triage service via the Housing Solutions duty desk, ensuring that all housekeeping and digital records are kept up to date.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-functional team to provide a comprehensive homelessness and housing advice service.
  • Monitor and administer the bespoke housing system, ensuring that all processes are maintained to the highest standards.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a general understanding of homelessness law, including the Housing Act 1996, the Homeless Persons Act 2002, The Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, and The Localism Act 2011. Ideally, you will have an understanding of the housing need in Herefordshire, although training will be provided for this role.

You will be a flexible and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting challenges while maintaining high standards. Your ability to ensure that Housing Solutions continuously improve services for internal and external clients, while promoting a positive image, is essential.
