We're seeking a talented Commercial Director to join our team and help build Sumer Law, a client-facing private practice within the Sumer Group.

As we expand our reach across the UK, addressing the legal needs of SME clients, we're gaining a significant competitive edge. This role offers the opportunity to drive internal referrals and foster relationships within the Sumer Group, playing a key part in aligning Sumer Law's services with hub needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Developing strong relationships between Sumer Law and each Sumer hub.
  • Identifying referral opportunities, such as how tax advice triggers legal support.
  • Championing Sumer Law's expertise, ensuring hubs know when to engage our services.
  • Partnering with fee-earners and marketing leads to create and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Aligning legal services with hub needs to ensure a steady flow of fee-earning work.

This role is about empowering collaboration, creating value across Sumer Group, and driving long-term growth of Sumer Law.

About You:

You'll be a seasoned business development professional with a proven track record in professional services or a multi-disciplinary environment. Experience in legal or accountancy sectors is highly desirable.

To succeed, you'll bring strengths in building referral pipelines, cross-department collaboration, data-driven insights, project execution, and professional services solutions. Your skills should include:
