About the Role

The trust is looking for an experienced Forensic Staff Nurse to join its team in Radlett, Hertfordshire. As a compassionate and enthusiastic professional, you will be working with men with mental illnesses and a history of offending behaviour who are at significant risk of causing harm to others.

Main Responsibilities

As our new Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing evidence-based care, working as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, and acting as the named nurse for an identified group of service users.

You will also assist in running shifts, supporting the Charge Nurse and Team Leader, and providing positive guidance to junior members of the team. Working hours may involve shifts, including some nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Requirements
  • Experience of care planning and assessing and managing clinical risk is essential.
  • You must have RNMH/RNLD/RMN/RGN registration with the NMC.
