We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of AMHP Team Leader. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership in the daily management and provision of the AMHP service county-wide.

Job Summary
As an AMHP Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing operational leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver exceptional patient care. You will work closely with the AMHP Service Manager to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards that promote best practice and excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards that promote best practice and excellence in service delivery.
• Work closely with the AMHP Service Manager to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these needs.
• Ensure that all team members have access to the necessary training, resources, and equipment to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
Professional qualification in a relevant area of health or social care.
Postgraduate qualification or formal management training.
Strong approval and practice as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
Demonstrable success in managing change and development.
Demonstrable success in quality improvement.
Proven ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.
Experience of working with service users and carers.
Experience of work involving clinical governance.
Knowledge of contemporary management and management information techniques.
