Job Summary:

Cameron Kennedy is seeking a Corporate Governance Manager to support and advise boards and committees across the UK, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man.

The successful candidate will oversee the governance framework, ensuring effective reporting and escalation, lead coordination of board and committee meetings, and set agendas and oversee board pack production. They will also annually review the effectiveness of board and committees, manage data protection governance, support governance initiatives and projects, and oversee legal agreements and assist with statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the governance framework, ensuring effective reporting and escalation
  • Lead coordination of board and committee meetings
  • Set agendas and oversee board pack production
  • Annually review the effectiveness of board and committees
  • Manage data protection governance
  • Support governance initiatives and projects
  • Oversight of legal agreements and assist with statutory filings

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience
  • Ideal CGI qualified or ICSA or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong understanding of company law and FCA governance expectations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
