Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and execution of complex wills and estate plans, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on estate administration, including probate and inheritance tax planning.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Wills and Probate team.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve the team's services and reputation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience in Wills and Probate.
  • Excellent knowledge of wills and estate planning, including trust drafting and estate administration.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Membership of STEP and completion of STEP qualifications.
  • Experience of working with high-net-worth international clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
