Senior Solicitor - Wills, Trusts & Probate Team

Our Private Client group is a regional heavyweight, providing legal services to clients across various aspects of wills, trusts, tax planning, and probate law. As a Senior Solicitor in our Wills, Trusts & Probate team, you will play a key role in supporting the team leader and other partners in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality legal services to clients on will drafting, probate and administration of estates, lifetime tax planning and trust drafting, Enduring Powers and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection.
  • Support the team in managing their case load, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality client service.
Person Specification:
  • Qualified solicitor with a strong LPC pass and current practising certificate from the SRA.
  • At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in this area of legal work.
  • Excellent technical grounding in wills, trusts, and probate law.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.
  • IT literate and self-sufficient in using document management systems, MS Office, and the internet as a business tool.
  • Previous experience in managing people within a team and supporting junior members of the team (desirable).
