Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including those in the Autism Unit, to help them engage with the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Foster independence, confidence, and self-esteem in students with SEN through personalized support and encouragement.
  • Support students in developing social skills and building positive relationships with peers.
Requirements
  • Experience working with SEN, particularly ASD, is highly desirable.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
