About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Urban Drainage Modelling Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the water market sector and excellent technical skills.

We are looking for a collaborator who can support teams and deliver projects as part of our national Practice. The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the water market sector and have a proven track record of business development, client management, project management, and line management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume Technical Lead role on projects to ensure AtkinsRéalis delivers Smarter, Faster, and More Reliable outcomes for its clients.
  • Undertake Project Director role on projects where required.
  • Undertake Programme/Framework Manager roles on strategic/multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Actively encourage staff to participate in and contribute to internal best practice forums and external profile-raising activities.
Requirements
  • Broad range of experience in Model Build and Verification, Model Maintenance, Hydraulic and Water Quality Analysis, Integrated Catchment Modelling, Catchment Planning, Solution Development, and Technical Leadership.
  • Demonstrable track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the water industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Positive outlook and approachable manner.
  • Ability to be flexible and to multitask and prioritize when necessary.
