Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Attega Group Ltd. As a key member of our Reactive and Remedials team, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations with planned and reactive maintenance.

With a strong background in drainage and plumbing, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving internal and external drainage issues, including above ground and below ground descales. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and addressing configuration and design issues within our internal drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct internal and external investigation works, including above ground and below ground descales, using HPWJ and mechanical coring/milling equipment.
  2. Operate electrical mechanical coring equipment and Picote milling machines for internal drainage clearance works.
  3. Investigate and trace external underground drainage systems on commercial and industrial sites.
  4. Attend reactive emergency call outs to clear internal above ground blockages, including soil stacks, float lines, and small bore pipework.
  5. Identify and address configuration and design issues within internal drainage systems.
  6. Undertake CCTV survey inspections to identify defects, pipe condition, design issues, and misconnections within underground and above ground drainage systems.
  7. Leak tracing and investigation on above ground water services.
  8. Repair leaks on water services in service voids and risers.
  9. Remove and replace small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals, etc.
  10. Remove and install cast iron soil pipework.
  11. Support drainage operatives with internal drain descales.
  12. Use CCTV equipment to support leak investigation.
  13. Take water samples to confirm the source of leaks.
Requirements
  1. 5 years experience as a Drainage Engineer.
  2. 1 year experience with plumbing.
  3. Confined Space Trained.
  4. A full UK clean driving license.
