As a Vulnerable Adults Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assessing, reviewing, and supporting vulnerable adults, ensuring that their needs are met, and they receive the best possible outcomes. You will have a deep understanding of relevant legal frameworks, policies, and guidance, applying this knowledge to inform your practice and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct comprehensive assessments and reviews of vulnerable adults' needs, identifying areas for support and intervention.
  • To develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting independence, well-being, and safety.
  • To work collaboratively with individuals, their carers, families, and other professionals to gather information, share knowledge, and coordinate services.
  • To maintain accurate records, reporting on progress, and evaluating the effectiveness of support plans.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in adult social care, with a focus on supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Demonstrable expertise in risk management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Full driving license and access to own vehicle (for travel between locations).

About the Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is £41,511 - £47,754 per annum, plus benefits including annual leave entitlement, pension scheme enrollment, employee assistance program, local & lifestyle discounts, and use of a free onsite gym.
