Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist in our Intensive Care Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with varied conditions, including orthopaedic, medical, elderly rehabilitation, amputees, neurological, surgical, and spinal injuries.

Main Duties of the Job

  1. To work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and doctors, to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans for patients.
  2. To conduct thorough assessments, identify patient goals, and develop individualised treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and independence.
  3. To provide high-quality therapy sessions, including exercise programs, mobility rehabilitation, and education to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  4. To work unsupervised and as part of a team, taking responsibility for ongoing assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patients.
  5. To anticipate and plan for patient discharge, ensuring a smooth transition to community care.
  6. To maintain accurate records, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and participate in professional development activities.
