Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Moss Agate Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Infrastructure Consultancy team. As a key member of the JV Management Team, you will play a crucial role in the design and deployment of complex projects in the Nuclear and Defence Sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Administration: Manage existing contracts, including performing, issuing, or managing as required by the Commercial Manager.
  • Commercial Advice: Provide guidance to Contract Leads on commercial matters.
  • Project Coordination: Ensure all contract timescales are met by the project team, including management of CEMAR.
  • Applications for Payments: Process and manage payment applications.
  • General Communications: Handle all contract-related communications.
  • Programme Submissions: Prepare and submit programme submissions as required.
  • Forecast Submissions: Provide forecast submissions to the project team.
  • Change Management: Manage change requests and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Early Warnings: Identify and manage potential issues that may impact project timelines.
  • Bid Support: Assist in the preparation of bids for new contracts.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project progress reports.
  • Support Project Meetings: Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly project meetings.
Requirements:
  • Strong NEC contract administration experience, preferably NEC4 Professional Service Contracts.
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills.
  • BSc Quantity Surveying or similar qualification.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work to high levels of accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Prior CEMAR experience is desirable.
  • Security Clearance will be required for this role.
