Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in servicing and repair to all heavy and light construction plant, including excavators, dumpers, compressors etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day tasks related to plant maintenance, operations, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Maintain a safe working environment adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Engineer at Buxted Construction Ltd. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Plant Engineering, Plant Maintenance, and Plant Operations skills.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Hydraulic systems knowledge.
  • Experience in maintaining and operating plant machinery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

A UK driving Licence and a relevant mechanical qualification, NVQ or equivalent are essential for this role.

Working Conditions:

Monday to Friday, working hours are between 07:45-16:45 hrs.

Remuneration:

Negotiable dependent on experience, with an estimated salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
