Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at St Marys Hospital.

This is a great opportunity to grow and develop your career in a service that specialises in Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and progressive neurological conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
  • Providing clinical leadership and supervision to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrating specialist expertise in areas such as occupational engagement and environmental adaptation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. A degree in Occupational Therapy and extensive post-qualification clinical experience with children and young people who have complex needs.
  2. The ability to work effectively in a low-stimulus environment and provide support to patients with acquired brain injuries and progressive neurological conditions.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Excellent assessment and planning skills, with the ability to identify and address the needs of patients and families.
Package:
  1. The equivalent of 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), plus your birthday off, free meals and parking, wellbeing support and activities, career development and training, pension contribution, life assurance, and a range of other benefits.
  2. A competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
