Mental Health Nurse - Adult Acute Services

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide high-quality care to adult patients with mental health conditions in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

The Role:
  • Support nursing care for a group of patients, acting as a named nurse and engaging with service users and their families.
  • Work within an acute mental health environment, offering 24-hour support to patients experiencing a mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients, acting as a named nurse for a defined group.
  • Collaborate with patients, carers, and families to plan and deliver individualized care.
  • Adhere to the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) model in clinical practice.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement processes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and facilitate effective team communication.
Requirements:
  • Active NMC registration with a valid PIN.
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to service improvement and quality care.
