Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Assessor for adult and mental health cases. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct thorough assessments of individuals’ disabilities or health conditions, providing detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine their eligibility for benefits.

Estimated Salary: £37,800 per annum, with the opportunity for a £1,500 additional skills allowance

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how an individual’s disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You will work closely with customers to gather information about their medical history, symptoms, and functional abilities. Your comprehensive reports will be used to inform decisions about their entitlement to benefits.

In addition to your clinical skills, you will need to be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports. A valid NMC registration number, at least one year of post-registration adult or mental health experience, and the right to work in the UK are also essential requirements.
