Job Description:

As a Senior Customer Support Engineer at SCC, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of engineering services within a defined team. Your primary goal is to ensure that the local team effectively delivers scheduled engineering services while balancing operational risks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring daily priorities are understood by the local team.
  • Overseeing delivery against work plans and driving performance improvement across metrics related to utilisation, SLA delivery & quality.
  • Working closely with the Training team to maintain fit-for-purpose skills, competencies, and security clearances for the Repair team.
  • Assisting in the performance management of local teams and ensuring high standards are met.

You will also be working closely with the Delivery Manager on day-to-day operations, including risk management, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and protecting our environments. Additionally, you will be the technical point of escalation within the local team and potentially wider across the SCC brand.

  • Technical skills and communication skills to help peers learn and grow.
  • Security clearance required.
