Job Title: Audio and Video Technician
About This Role:
We're looking for an experienced Audio and Video Technician to join our team in Cardiff. As an expert in your field, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality audiovisual systems in event environments, exceeding client expectations and ensuring flawless execution.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment for events, conducting thorough checks and tests.
- Set up, operate, and break down audio-visual equipment efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Resolve technical issues promptly, demonstrating technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Contribute to team success on large-scale projects, adapting to changing circumstances.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service.
- Monitor events, checking in with customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues with equipment and software.
- Manage equipment changes and challenges efficiently, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Familiarize yourself with company policies, procedures, and administrative tasks, completing them accurately.
- Utilize equipment sheets to plan setup and strike, coordinating with colleagues and external vendors.
